GLEASMAN’S LAKEFRONT COTTAGES

From WESTERN New York State

1.                  Take NY State Thruway to Verona Exit #33

2.                  Follow Route 365 East (approx. 8 miles) pick up Rt 26 North to Rome.

3.                  Follow Route 26 North through Rome to Rt 12D (about 29 miles north of Rome, going through West Branch, Ava, West Leyden) At Potters Corners is the junction of Routes 26, 12D and 12D North

4.                  Take 12D North straight a head to Lyons Falls.  You will be going down a steep hill at the bottom at the Great American Store turn to the right onto Rt 12 North.  Go towards Lowville about 4.5 miles

5.                  See directions below continue with #5 to arrive to Gleasmans

                                                26 North from West Leyden

From EASTERN New York State

1.                  Take NY State Thruway to Utica, Exit 31

2.                  Follow Rt 12 North to Boonville (33 miles)

3.                  Continue 12 North to Port Leyden (5 miles)

4.                  Continue 12 North to Lyons Falls (2 miles)

5.                  Continue 12 North towards Lowville.  About 4 miles north of Lyons Falls you will come to a sign saying, BRANTINGHAM LAKE 7 MILES.  At the drive-in movie theater turn right onto Burdicks Crossing Road.

6.                  Travel 1.5 miles to the end of Burdicks Crossing Road and turn left.

7.                  Go through the village of Grieg follow 0.7 miles through the village of Grieg turn right onto Brantingham Road.  Follow this road approximately 3.5 miles to the Pine Tree Inn. 

8.                  Turn left onto Partridgeville Road for 1.7 miles.  This will become Long Point Road bear to the right continue on for 1 (one) mile. 

9.                  The house is on the left; cedar siding with a double garage (5580 Long Point Road).
